Lilavati Hospital and Research Centre, in association with SEWA (Service Quality for the Welfare of All), organised a free heart health check-up camp on the occasion of World Heart Day 2026 to create awareness around heart health.
The camp was inaugurated by Rouble Nagi, Shalin Bhanot, Suchitra Krishnamoorthi, Rupali Suri and Raju Singh, who extended their support to the initiative and encouraged others to do the same.
The initiative, “one heart one life makes every beat count”, witnessed participation from over 1,500 people. The camp included complimentary physical health screenings such as cardiovascular examinations, lipid profile tests and cholesterol assessments. Electrocardiogram (ECG) tests were conducted for people who required further assessment, along with multi-speciality consultations.
Commenting on the initiative, Rajiv K. While World Heart Day serves as a reminder to pay attention to heart health, preventive health check-ups should be made a regular part of healthcare routines.
