Medlegal accreditation program for doctors launched

The program which is designed by the ‘MedLegal Safety Standards Organisation’ (MSSO) will be offered to doctors throughout India by Reach52, an organisation working in the  healthcare space across low and middle income countries

The ‘MedLegal Accreditation Program – For Doctors’ was launched on March 19, 2024 in Lucknow. This initiative aims to minimise medical errors and promote safety in healthcare. 

The program which is designed by the ‘MedLegal Safety Standards Organisation’ (MSSO) will be offered to doctors throughout India by Reach52, an organisation working in the  healthcare space across low and middle income countries. 

Edward Booty, CEO (Global) and Vivek Verma, CEO (India) from Reach52 and Ravindra Mangal, Executive Director and Agasti Mhatre, Chief Operations Officer from  the Institute of Medicine & Law were present at the inaugural event. 

This program will help the doctor in identifying the potential danger areas and reducing  errors in their day-to-day practice. It will also guide them on the medically and legally correct  way of managing these situations. Doctors enrolled in this program will continue to receive  regular updates even after getting accredited. 

MedLegal Safety Standards Organisation is a subsidiary of the Institute of Medicine & Law that promotes ‘MedLegal Safety’ in healthcare. Reach52 which is headquartered in Singapore partners with businesses, governments, and social organisations to deliver targeted health campaigns in the Philippines, Indonesia, India, Cambodia, Kenya, and South Africa
