Recently, OPTM Healthcare launched its flagship clinic in South Extension, New Delhi, focusing on muscle-centric natural pain care solutions. The clinic marks a shift in the brand’s approach, now specialising in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis and spine degenerative disorders. The company previously offered comprehensive pain management for various musculoskeletal conditions but has strategically refocused its efforts to address these specific health issues.
The 3500 sq. ft. clinic in New Delhi integrates advanced tools and technologies alongside in-house diagnostic labs, offering services for diagnosis, pain management, and transformative care. At the core of the clinic’s offerings is the ‘Bio-Musculo Index’, an AI-powered diagnostic device developed by Varco Leg Care. This first-of-its-kind device analyses ten biomarkers to determine an individual’s muscle age, providing insights that inform personalised treatment plans.
Following the diagnostic phase, OPTM Healthcare’s muscle-centric treatment protocol begins, featuring phyto-topical formulations. This non-toxic, side-effects-free approach operates at the cellular level, reversing degeneration and potentially eliminating the need for joint surgeries, especially in patients at early to moderate stages of degeneration.
The clinic’s inauguration event was attended by Dr. Raghav Sehgal, PhD from Yale University, and Dr. Michael Lim, Founder & CEO of Cell Genesis, who were invited as chief guests. During the event, OPTM Healthcare also presented its patent-pending phytotherapy. This plant-based, natural treatment methodology is clinically proven to reverse muscle ageing by promoting cellular repair. Additionally, the clinic is equipped with FDA-approved devices for cryotherapy and lymphatic compression therapy.
OPTM Healthcare announced plans to open 10 more clinics over the next nine months and expand its team of certified physiotherapists, health coaches, Ayurvedic doctors, and orthopaedic surgeons. Dr. Raghav Sehgal discussed the integration of longevity science into clinical outcomes, while Dr. Lim emphasised the role of muscle health in extending human healthspan.
Suresh Jain, Managing Director at The Alan Scott Initiative, praised OPTM Healthcare’s innovative approach and the use of technology to drive regenerative medicine. “I am proud to support OPTM, an Alan Scott Initiative startup that is fostering innovations across regenerative medicine, AI-enabled diagnosis, and phyto-therapeutics,” Jain said.
Dr Apurba Ganguly, Founder and Chief Scientist Officer of OPTM Healthcare, highlighted the company’s focus on addressing the root causes of joint degeneration and pain, specifically muscle weakness and ageing. His research over three decades has shaped OPTM’s approach, which differs from traditional symptom-based pain relief methods.
Dr Ganguly said, “Since inception, our goal at OPTM Healthcare has been to empower individuals to reclaim their mobility and thrive. By addressing the root causes of pain and degeneration, we are redefining what it means to live a healthy, active life.”
The launch event also included a demonstration of OPTM’s AI-powered biomarker test and a tour of the facility, which underscored the brand’s commitment to revolutionising musculoskeletal healthcare and muscle-centric treatment. The clinic reflects OPTM Healthcare’s long-term vision of providing natural, sustainable solutions for pain management, potentially reducing the need for invasive surgeries and offering patients a longer, pain-free life.
