According to WHO, infertility is the failure to achieve a successful pregnancy after 12 months or more of regular unprotected intercourse. Experts believe that lifestyle changes, poor dietary habits, stress, pollution and harmful radiations are the major reason behind the rising incidence of infertility.

The studies indicate that six per cent of men aged between 15-44 years are infertile or their fertility is significantly compromised1 and around 2.53 per cent women above the age of 18 years have been found infertile in NFHS-3.

Reportedly, the infertility treatments available at the centre include Intra Uterine Insemination (IUI), In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), Intra Cytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), PIMSI, and Intracytoplasmic morphologically-selected sperm injection (IMSI). Southend Fertility and IVF also offers diagnostic and screening procedures such as PGD, PGS to ensure better outcomes.
