Japan based M3 enters in JV with HealthCare atHOME
M3 will launch Internet-based health portal in India
HealthCare atHOME India (HCAH) has launch a unique Internet-based healthcare service in India in partnership with Japan’s $10-billion healthcare media company M3.
Through this partnership, HCAH, and M3 will provide Indian doctors an on-line, and mobile platform to stay connected to news, best practices, innovations, and the latest research from global peers, and experts. The digital platform, aimed at the healthcare community, will also offer customised, and continued medical education (CME) that will help improve practices, and also improve patient care in the long-term.
The company will work closely with other key players in the healthcare sector including pharma companies, healthcare service providers [hospitals], and the government to improve the quality of communication, and dissemination of relevant medical information amongst various stakeholders in the healthcare fraternity.
HCAH, and M3 expect the growth of the market for digital marketing of pharmaceutical products to exceed Rs 24 billion by 2020. M3 has a successful track record in Japan, the US, Korea, the UK and China. With this partnership, M3 will now directly cover countries inhabited by roughly 3.3 billion people or 40 per cent of the world’s population.
