STAR Hospitals Hyderabad has announced the inauguration of its first Information Centre and Air Ambulance Services in Ballygunge, Kolkata.

The move comes in response to the growing number of patients traveling from Kolkata to Hyderabad for specialised treatments. The new centre aims to bridge the geographical gap, providing local support, streamlined follow-up care, and direct connectivity to STAR Hospitals’ renowned specialists.

The Kolkata Information Centre will facilitate consultations and guidance from medical professionals, including Dr Mettu Srinivas Reddy, Director and Lead Surgeon, STAR Centre for Advanced Liver Care and Transplantation, STAR Hospitals Hyderabad; Dr Ramu Chimakurthi, Senior Consultant in Hepatology and Liver Transplantation, STAR Hospitals Hyderabad; Dr Vipin Goel, Sr. Consultant and Head, Surgical Oncology, STAR Hospitals Hyderabad; Dr Sainath Bhethanabhotla, Sr. Consultant and Head-Medical Oncology and Dr Vijay Kumar Sarma Madduri, Sr. Consultant-Urologist, Robotic and Kidney Transplant Surgeon.
