Lilavati Hospital expands international healthcare presence with super-specialty facility in Kazakhstan

Lilavati Hospital, one of India’s most recognised healthcare institutions, is set to expand its international presence with the launch of a super-speciality OPD facility in Kazakhstan from early September 2026. The initiative marks an important step in Lilavati Hospital’s long-term vision of taking its trusted healthcare expertise beyond India and building a strong international healthcare presence.

The Kazakhstan initiative, the first Lilavati healthcare facility outside India to become operational, will bring Lilavati Hospital’s specialist consultations, second opinions, advanced treatment planning and medical expertise closer to patients in Central Asia. The centre will offer super-speciality services across Oncology, Liver and Hepatobiliary, Kidney and Transplantation, Cardiac Sciences, Neurology and Neurosurgery, IVF and Reproductive Medicine, Gastroenterology, Orthopaedics, Urology, Endocrinology and Diabetes, Paediatrics and Pulmonology. Complex cases requiring advanced treatment and surgery will be connected with Lilavati Hospital Mumbai.

With more than three decades of healthcare experience, Lilavati Hospital brings a strong foundation of clinical expertise to this expansion. The hospital has around 375 experienced consultants and specialists in more than 40 medical and surgical specialties, including transplantation, oncology, cardiac sciences, neurosciences, robotic and minimally invasive surgery, GI and hepatobiliary surgery, and IVF.

The hospital is also pursuing its international expansion with a focus on building a strong healthcare ecosystem, especially in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and beyond, under the stewardship of Smt Charuben Mehta, Founder, Permanent Trustee for Life & Chairperson, Lilavati Hospital.
