Key Highlights:
[1] AI reduces cognitive burden in radiology by automating measurements and repetitive tasks, increasing productivity and lowering burnout. It also improves detection accuracy, especially for small or incidental findings, and enables objective follow-up comparisons.

[2] Transparency is important, and AI-assisted reporting in radiology should be disclosed with proper governance.

[3] AI won’t replace radiologists, but will push the field toward sub-specialisation and help address workforce shortages.

[4] Cloud-based, pay-per-use AI models in radiology are making adoption more accessible, especially for small and mid-sized hospitals that cannot afford expensive on-premise systems.

[5] High costs and multiple single-purpose vendors create implementation challenges, as integrating different AI tools into existing hospital systems can disrupt workflow and delay reporting.
