Through the MoU, GCT and the Department of Industrial Biotechnology will leverage 5C's AI-powered technologies to enhance skill-based training, research, and industrial collaboration in biotechnology
5C Network, India’s leading and most deployed AI-driven radiology platform, announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Government College of Technology (GCT), Coimbatore, specifically with the Department of Industrial Biotechnology. This partnership marks a significant step in 5C Network’s mission to foster innovation and skill development in the field of industrial biotechnology.
5C Network will benefit by leveraging GCT’s research capabilities, biotech expertise, and engineering talent to accelerate AI innovation and clinical validation. The partnership will enable deeper experimentation, collaborative problem-solving, and co-creation of new diagnostic technologies enhancing skill-based training, and education and research. It will also build a strong academic pipeline for future hiring and strengthen 5C’s long-term R&D strategy. Under the agreement, 5C Network and the
Department of Industrial Biotechnology, GCT, will work together on initiatives including:
- Industrial Training & Visits: Industry and institution interaction to provide insights into the latest developments and requirements of industries. The faculty and the students of GCT will have the opportunity to visit 5C facilities and participate in Industrial Training Programs to gain real-life implementation perspective.
- Guest Lectures: 5C Network will extend support to deliver guest lectures to students of GCT on technology trends and in-house requirements, promoting collaborative research.
- Placement of trained students: 5C Network will engage in helping with the training and placement of students based on technology trends and requirements.
