Manipal Hospitals conducts Republic Day health camps across four cities
Initiative marks India’s 77th Republic Day with preventive health services
On the occasion of India’s 77th Republic Day, Manipal Hospitals marked the day by focusing on public health. The hospital network organised Republic Day health camps across its facilities in Dwarka, Gurugram, Ghaziabad, and Ranchi. The initiative was held with the intent of linking national responsibility with access to healthcare services.
As part of the programme, over 1,800 citizens took part in the health camps. Participants were offered health check-up packages at subsidised rates. The services covered blood investigations, cardiac screening, eye check-ups, consultations with physicians, diet counselling, and preventive assessments. The camps were aimed at addressing health concerns across different age groups.
Commenting on the initiative, Manipal Hospitals stated, “Republic Day is a reminder of our responsibility towards the nation and its people. Through these health camps, our aim was to make preventive healthcare more accessible and encourage individuals to prioritise timely health screenings. Early detection plays a critical role in improving long-term health outcomes.”
The participation in the camps indicated awareness around preventive healthcare, especially during public holidays and extended weekends when families are more likely to take part in health-related activities. Manipal Hospitals said it continues to conduct outreach programmes, community health camps, and awareness initiatives as part of its approach to supporting early diagnosis and community health.
