Max Healthcare has entered into a strategic partnership with The Learning Lab, a Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust spin-out, through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The collaboration is focused on healthcare capacity-building programmes and joint research initiatives.

In the initial phase, the partnership will work on the co-development of a training programme for nurses working in oncology departments. The organisations will also examine future opportunities across other medical specialties and explore options for collaborative research.

The partnership brings together Max Healthcare’s clinical experience and hospital network in India with The Learning Lab’s experience in developing healthcare education programmes based on NHS practices. Under the collaboration, both organisations will jointly develop training modules for healthcare professionals working in tertiary and specialised care settings. These programmes are intended to support clinical skill development, patient care outcomes, and the creation of training capacity within healthcare systems.

Commenting on the partnership, Dr Sandeep Budhiraja, Group Medical Director, Max Healthcare, said, “We are pleased to partner with The Learning Lab to co-create world-class capacity-building and research programmes. By combining Max Healthcare’s frontline clinical experience with The Learning Lab’s academic and educational expertise, we aim to deliver practical, evidence-based learning that empowers nursing teams, enhances multidisciplinary cancer care, and lays a strong foundation for future collaborative research and advanced surgical training, including in robotics.”

Commenting further, Bhaveet Radia, CEO, The Learning Lab, said, “Max Healthcare has an inspiring vision and hugely impressive operational model. The people we have met have been deeply impressive, and it is clear there is a very special culture within the organisation.”

The collaboration reflects the stated intent of both organisations to strengthen healthcare delivery and clinical capability through international partnerships, with a focus on patient care and access to specialised training.
