Medanta appoints Dr Pawan Rawal as Senior Director

Medanta – The Medicity, has appointed Dr Pawan Rawal as Senior Director, Gastroenterology and Gastrosciences. With over 18 years of expertise in advanced gastroenterology and therapeutic endoscopy.

A qualified Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist, Dr Rawal is known for managing complex pancreaticobiliary disorders, intestinal disorders, chronic liver diseases (including hepatitis B and C), and paediatric gastroenterology. His clinical proficiency includes advanced therapeutic endoscopy procedures such as ERCP, EUS, and third-space endoscopy. Dr. Rawal has served as Principal Investigator in several clinical trials, including the Indian launch trial of Sofosbuvir, a landmark antiviral drug for hepatitis C. An active member of several prestigious gastroenterology societies, he is a sought-after speaker at global medical conferences.
