RED Health join hands with Dr. L.H. Hiranandani Hospital to launch 5G-enabled ambulance service

RED Health has launched 5G-enabled Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulance service, in collaboration with Dr. L.H. Hiranandani Hospital, Powai.

The newly launched 5G-enabled ambulance fleet features advanced ambulances equipped with medical technology, high-speed 5G connectivity, and staffed by expertly trained paramedics. These ambulances will be strategically positioned across Central Mumbai to ensure rapid response times and advanced medical interventions. The 5G technology enables real-time streaming of patient vitals, video consultations with specialists, and instant access to medical records, creating a seamless bridge between emergency response and hospital care.

Sharing his thoughts on this Prabhdeep Singh, Founder and CEO, RED Health said, “Today marks a moment of immense significance in Mumbai’s emergency healthcare history. The launch of Central Mumbai’s first 5G-enabled Advanced Life Support ambulance service represents a powerful breakthrough in emergency medical technology. This 5G capability in ambulances will allow real-time data transmission, remote monitoring, and on-the-move consultations with specialists. The initiative will aim to minimise the time taken for diagnosis and treatment, starting from the moment a patient leaves their home.
