The new hospital offers services across Nephrology, Urology, Uro-Oncology, Kidney Transplantation, Dialysis, Paediatric Urology, Andrology and Reconstructive Urology. Its infrastructure includes a 12-station haemodialysis unit, three dedicated operation theatres, a 100W Holmium laser, a 45W Thulium Fibre Laser, 3D laparoscopy, RIRS, PCNL, an in-house 32-slice CT scanner and video urodynamics. A dedicated urological robotic surgery platform is also scheduled to be launched. The facility also has dedicated Nephrology and Urology OPDs and an in-house pharmacy.

Speaking about the expansion, Vishal Bali, Executive Director, Asia Healthcare Holdings (AHH), said, “The opportunity in specialised healthcare lies in building institutions that combine deep clinical expertise with the right infrastructure, technology and talent. At AHH, our approach is to strengthen specialised healthcare platforms such as AINU by investing in clinical capabilities, technology and infrastructure to expand access to advanced care across underserved markets. Post the acquisition, we have added 300 beds, enhanced robotic technology and strengthened clinical talent” He also added, “AINU’s expansion into Odisha is an important step in addressing this gap, while strengthening its presence in Eastern India. We see significant potential in developing specialised centres of excellence that can deliver consistent clinical outcomes and bring advanced healthcare closer to communities. As part of our growth plans, we are on track to close this financial year with a network of 10 hospitals, further strengthening our presence and reach across the country.”

Sandeep Guduru, Chief Executive Officer, Asian Institute of Nephrology & Urology (AINU), said, “AINU’s entry into Bhubaneswar is a strategic milestone in our growth journey and reinforces our vision of building a wider network of specialised kidney and urology care centres. This is our 8th hospital across the country. As healthcare needs evolve, we believe dedicated centres of excellence can play a vital role in improving access, strengthening patient confidence and delivering consistent standards of care. Our expansion into Odisha is driven by the opportunity to combine clinical expertise, advanced infrastructure and operational excellence to serve a larger population. This is the 2nd exclusive Uro-Nephro hospital in Odisha after AIMS, Bhubaneswar. We remain committed to building a trusted healthcare destination for patients across Eastern India.”

The Bhubaneswar facility adds to AINU’s network of kidney and urology hospitals and extends its services to patients in Odisha and neighbouring regions.
