Apna offered access to over 50,000 job opportunities in the last quarter to bridge aspiring workforce with employers instantly

Apna – a hiring platform dedicated to India’s frontline workforce – is helping Indian businesses hire efficiently in the shortest time. It has amplified its efforts to provide hospitals, e-pharmacies and delivery companies’ workforce for critical and essential roles, the company said in a statement.

The organisations in the healthcare sector and essential services that have recruited the most candidates via the app are 1mg, Columbia Asia Hospitals, BLK Super Specialty Hospital, Max Healthcare, Apollo Hospitals, Pharmeasy, Dr Lal Path Labs and Wellness Forever, said the statement.

It claimed that in the last quarter, Apna has catered to over 2,500 organisations directly or indirectly allied to healthcare. The companies offered over 50,000 openings for the roles that ranged from nurses (general as well as on COVID-19 duty), ward boys, medical staff, lab technicians, pharmacists, blood bank technicians and patient caretakers, among others.

In addition to this, Apna has facilitated 2,50,000 interviews in over 14 cities across India. As a first, the Apna platform creates a digital identity for its users which fast tracks the hiring process by allowing the candidates to connect directly to the HR officers, added the statement.

Speaking in this regard, Nirmit Parikh, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Apna.co, said, “The Indian healthcare system is consolidating all forces to mitigate the effect of the second wave of COVID-19. In the battle against the pandemic, Apna aims to capitalise on digital technology and the power of networking to enable critical medical services to run uninterruptedly. Through our app, we provide instant and hyper-local solutions to manage the unstable manpower, thus, enabling businesses to operate and provide essential and critical medical services.”
