Eurolife Healthcare – manufacturing and distribution company of Speciality Infusion and Pharmaceuticals, launched an intravenous iv products named Discport and Lifeport in the Indian drug market. Positioned as smart intravenous infusion, both products encompass the best of the latest technology that reduce the chances of any infections apart from ease of use.
Discport- Does not require any venting which ensures safety. It can be sterilised at 121* C and has lowest endotoxin levels. There is nil chance of any microbiological contamination and no DEHP exposure.
Lifeport, known as closed system infusion (CIV infusion), is a premium product with two ports one for the infusion delivery and another one for the extra medication. Lifeport does not require venting. It is self-collapsible bottle ensuring zero wastage of expensive medication. No DEHP exposure, no drug incompatibility and no medication error.
These products are the replacement to the presently used PE bottles (FFS bottles) the new PP bottles have better quality with additional features and are available at affordable prices to the patients.
