New centre brings together robotic surgery services across multiple specialties under a single programme
Fortis Escorts Hospital, Faridabad has launched the Fortis Institute of Robotic Surgery, a dedicated centre that brings together robotic-assisted surgical services across multiple specialties under a single programme.
The institute integrates robotic surgical systems, dedicated operating facilities, and multidisciplinary clinical teams to support minimally invasive procedures. It will offer robotic-assisted surgeries in specialties including oncology, general and gastrointestinal surgery, urology, orthopaedics, cardiothoracic and vascular surgery (CTVS), ENT, and gynaecology. The programme is supported by imaging, diagnostic, and peri-operative care services.
In addition to clinical services, it is intended to support surgical training, skill development, and the adoption of emerging surgical technologies. The initiative is part of the hospital’s broader focus on expanding robotic-assisted surgical capabilities.
