ACKO, in partnership with Red.Health, has launched a feature of booking an ambulance through its mobile app. The feature aims to provide critical assistance to individuals during medical emergencies. The technology used to build the feature enables individuals to avail an ambulance quickly and seamlessly, claims the company.
A company release informs that the app can fetch the nearest ambulance from a network of 3000 vehicles and share the driver details in less than three minutes. The app provides the feature of live-tracking, the customers can see the ambulance’s exact location on the map and its estimated time of arrival.
The feature is currently available in Bangalore, and will go live in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata in subsequent weeks.
