Northgate Public Services, UK visits India on a healthcare trade mission

The mission led by Sir Malcolm Grant, Chairman, National Health Service (NHS) UK visits India brings the best of British enterprises in healthcare to showcase capabilities that are relevant to India’s ambitious smart cities initiative

As one of the key players in the UK healthcare technology market, Northgate Public Services recently participated in the UK Trade & Investments’ Smart Cities Healthcare trade mission to India. The two day event took place at Taj Land’s End, Mumbai on the June 8-9, 2016 and featured the most innovative of UK based businesses with products and services across the healthcare industry.

Since the Indian government announced plans to begin development on 20 smart cities from among a planned list of 100, the interest in the Indian infrastructure market has been considerably higher. With smart healthcare solutions being a crucial aspect of smart cities, the healthcare mission aimed to put the UK on the highest pedestal as a partner in India’s smart cities campaign.

 The mission led by Sir Malcolm Grant, Chairman, National Health Service (NHS) UK, featured over 20 UK based businesses that work in the fields of healthcare infrastructure, smart hospitals, digital healthcare, electronic patient records & remote monitoring systems, and clinical care systems. Northgate Public Services participated in the mission by showcasing its capabilities in healthcare screening systems and developing online health registries.
