Religare Health Insurance launches Super Mediclaim for critical illnesses and surgeries

Religare Health Insurance (RHI), unveiled a hospitalisation insurance product, Super Mediclaim, a comprehensive range of health insurance plans for critical illnesses and surgeries. The range offers a host of benefits for 32 defined critical illnesses as well as cancer treatment, heart disease treatment and surgeries. The product is considered to be cost effective as it offers a host of other benefits including preventive health check up, OPD expenses, psychiatric counselling, cost of care and treatment, recuperation expenses and cover against disease relapse.

Super Mediclaim is available in four variants namely, Cancer Mediclaim which covers all types of cancers including early stage cancers, carcinoma in-situ etc.; Heart Mediclaim which offers insurance protection from 17 critical conditions of the heart including angioplasty, heart attack, bypass surgeries etc. Critical Mediclaim covers 32 critical illnesses related with cancer, heart attack, organ transplant, paralysis etc. and Operation Mediclaim which insures against all types of surgeries.

In a bid to enhance patient’s experience, Religare has included a ‘lifelong renewability on easy instalments’ element with the product as the key selling point.
