SRCC Children’s Hospital launches ‘Raksha OPD’

Raksha OPD services include consultation for ailments related to heart, bones, joints, muscles, ENT, cancer, nerves, brain, spine and kidney

SRCC Children’s Hospital, managed by Narayana Health, has started offering a consultation known as “Raksha OPD” for children and adolescents up to 18 years of age. Raksha OPDs will be held between 9:00 am and 11:00 am on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Raksha OPD services include consultation for ailments related to heart, bones, joints, muscles, ENT, cancer, nerves, brain, spine and kidney.

Dr Purna Kurkure, Medical Director, SRCC Children’s Hospital, said, “In India, significant number of healthcare expenses are out-of-pocket and each year millions of people are faced with the challenge of inadequate finances to fund their child’s healthcare cost. With the growing need for improving accessibility to quality OPDs’, we believe that ‘Raksha OPD’ will help increase accessibility to paediatric specialists at an affordable cost.”
