Thyrocare expands eastern India footprint with new diagnostic laboratory in Bhagalpur

Thyrocare Technologies has inaugurated a new diagnostic laboratory in Thana, Bhagalpur, Bihar. This marks the company’s 30th laboratory in India and supports its strategy to expand access to diagnostic services in Eastern India.

The new facility spans 5,000 sq. ft. and is equipped with high-capacity automated analysers. The laboratory is built to handle a wide range of routine and specialised diagnostic tests, with a focus on faster sample processing and reduced turnaround time for test results.

Thyrocare has identified Bhagalpur as a strategic location due to the growing demand for diagnostic services in Eastern Bihar. The company plans to improve diagnostic accessibility by enabling local sample processing, which will result in quicker report delivery and streamlined customer service.

The laboratory will cater not only to Bhagalpur but also extend its services to patients in northeastern Jharkhand and northern West Bengal, reinforcing Thyrocare’s presence in the region.
