Vikram Hospital, Bengaluru’s quaternary care and multi-specialty hospital, recently announced the launch of tele-consultation and video call services with consultants. This initiative was planned keeping in mind the growing health concerns of public during lockdown and most importantly with outbreak of the COVID-19 virus.

This service will allow patients to consult with consultants across specialty right from their homes, thus avoiding the long-distance travel to the hospital, especially during the lockdown period. Emergency services at Vikram will be available round the clock.

Announcing the service, Dr Somesh Mittal, CEO, Vikram Hospital Bengaluru said, “For the interest of our patients, we are providing them with a hassle-free option to consult with our doctors. We understand how difficult it is to get the basic medical help during this time. Therefore, we have introduced this service which will not only offer consultation on phone but will also help them avoid the hassle of stepping out of their homes.”

Additionally, Vikram Hospital can also offer collection of blood sample, pick up and drop during emergency and home delivery of medicines. On need basis the hospital also offers special care for senior citizens.
