Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) organised a free preventive health screening camp at its Dwarka campus in association with HEAL Foundation. The camp was inaugurated by Dr Mahesh Verma, Vice-Chancellor of the university. Reportedly, nearly 600 university employees will undergo comprehensive health assessments using state-of-the-art health pods (ATMs). The preventive mobile health screening camp was facilitated by the HEAL Foundation.

The health pods, resembling ATMs, provide a non-invasive screening for 20 vital health parameters, including SpO2, blood pressure, body mass index, waist-to-hip ratio, bone mineral content, pulse, temperature, visceral fat, body cell mass, body fat percentage, weight, and electrocardiogram. These metrics are essential for maintaining good health and preventing chronic diseases.

The initiative comes at a time when preventive health measures are gaining importance globally. With rising incidences of lifestyle diseases, regular health check-ups have become imperative. The screening provided by the health pods is quick, non-invasive, and offers immediate results, making it a practical tool for busy professionals.
