Cloudnine Group of Hospitals launches PCOS and menopause clinic in Chandigarh

The special women’s clinic will be operational at Cloudnine Hospital, Chandigarh on every Thursday

Cloudnine Group of Hospitals, has launched its first dedicated PCOS and menopause clinic to mark the International Women’s Day 2019. This comprehensive clinic will aim at providing one stop solution for women of all age groups especially young adolescent girls and elderly women to discuss their problems with a team of doctors related to PCOD, lifestyle disorders, menopause, fibroids and endometriosis. Expert team of doctors will comprise an endocrinologist, nutritionist, gynecologist and fertility specialist under one roof.

This special women’s clinic will be operational at Cloudnine Hospital, Chandigarh once a week, every Thursday from 2 pm to 4 pm.

At the sidelines of the launch Dr Pawan Kumar, Regional Director (North), Cloudnine Group of Hospitals said, “Within our complex system of long-term care, women’s caregiving is essential in providing a backbone of support to the family. Women regardless of professional achievements, are still relied upon by the family and society as the central caregivers and it is all the more essential to provide them with a platform where they can discuss, evaluate and act upon any health conditions which can be challenging at later stage. I am happy to announce the launch of our novel initiative which not only engage but offer the best solutions to every women under one roof by our excellent panel of doctor. Offerings under this clinic will make healthcare more accessible to the women in the tricity and nearby regions.”

Speaking at the unveiling ceremony of the clinic, Dr Seema Sharma, Senior Consultant – Obesetriction and High risk Pregnancy specialist, Cloudnine Group of Hospitals, Chandigarh said, “Through this clinic, we aim to connect with women of all age groups and offer a well-rounded treatment approach to manage their health.”

Dr Ritambhara Bhalla, Senior Consultant – Gynecologist and Obesetriction, Cloudnine Group of Hospitals, Chandigarh said, “As reproductive functions play out over time hormone levels take a plunge, triggering the onset of menopause and common hormone imbalances associated with the change of life, it is very important that women are given a common platform to talk and discuss their problems and arrive at preventive measures.”
