Coronavirus may have bought the world to a standstill, but the scenario inside the CSIR-IICT (Indian Institute of Chemical Technology) laboratory is different. Scientists are vigorously working against time to find a drug for the deadly Coronavirus that has infected about three million people worldwide. This well-known Indian research institute based-out of Hyderabad recently announced its current work on re-purposing the existing drugs, Faviporavir, Remdesivir, and hydroxychloroquine, to fight against COVID-19. According to Dr Chandrasekhar Srivari, Director, CSIR-IICT, the nationwide lockdown and transport restrictions did not hinder the research process as Carbanio offered an efficient supply chain support for IICT even during the lockdown period. He further added that it would have been very difficult to search for suppliers during this period and Carbanio took the hassle and ensured that all the required raw materials reached on time. Carbanio supported us back integration of all raw materials and delivered key building blocks as per our custom requirements.
