The latest online episode, the fifth in the series, was hosted on 29th Oct 2021

ICPA Health Products (ICPA) has initiated an interactive online series titled ‘ICPA Clinical Series’ for addressing specific clinical challenges faced by dentists in their everyday practice. Themed ‘Each Episode-One Clinical Challenge’, the series is moderated by ICPA’s Technical Head of Marketing – Dr Rajeev Chitguppi. Each session in the series has a guest speaker, specialists from various domains of dentistry. With a set schedule of two episodes per month, the series aims to help dentists gain insights from leading authorities in the field.

The latest online episode, the fifth in the series, was hosted on 29th Oct 2021. The guest speaker – Dr Roheet Khatavkar, addressed the newer and unconventional access cavity preparations for root canal treatments.

Dr Chitguppi said, “We launched ICPA Clinical Series to solve clinical challenges faced by dentists in their daily practice. With this new initiative, the company has moved a step forward from helping dentists with prescriptions to helping them address clinical challenges as well. Each episode is unique since it addresses one specific clinical challenge and has one guest speaker who is an expert in a specific domain within dentistry. The experts address a pre-decided clinical challenge based on their clinical experience and attempt to provide easy to implement solutions.”

Before the latest episode on access cavity preparations for root canal treatments, ICPA has held four other sessions. In the inaugural show, Dr Komal Majumdar, a renowned implantologist, addressed issues related to implant prosthodontics. In the next episode, Dr Aslam Inamdar spoke on overcoming the challenges faced by dentists incorporating digital dentistry in their practice. Dr Moez Khakiani addressed the third session and spoke on clinical solutions to jaw joint problems. Dr Surabhi Mahidhar held the fourth session on the challenges related to screw-retained implant restorations.

“The series has received an overwhelming response within the first five episodes. Dentists are pre-registering for the series, and we are receiving several queries in advance for the speakers. The sessions are interactive, and viewers are also welcome to submit any queries to the guest speaker during the live session. It is ICPA’s endeavour to facilitate an environment for dentists across India to come together to explore, share, learn and update themselves with developments in the field of dentistry,” concludes Dr Chitguppi.
