Innvolution Healthcare expands cath lab business into Indonesia

Indian medical device company Innvolution Healthcare is expanding its cardiology business in Indonesia in the next phase of its international growth strategy.

The Bangalore-based company, which develops interventional cardiology technologies and cardiac catheterisation laboratory (cath lab) systems, has appointed international business development consultancy Intralink to identify and recruit a distribution partner to support the launch of its cath lab platform in Indonesia.

Founded in 2010, Innvolution has established a strong presence in India and already expanded internationally into markets including Nepal, Bangladesh, Central Asia and Africa.

The company has supplied cardiovascular consumables in Indonesia for more than a decade and is now preparing to introduce its cath lab systems to the market, offering hospitals access to advanced cardiac imaging technology as a cost-effective alternative to established international brands.

Indonesia represents an important growth opportunity for Innvolution, with demand for cardiovascular care increasing and hospitals continuing to invest in specialist medical technology. The company has already engaged with leading cardiologists in the country and is now seeking a distribution partner with strong cardiology expertise and established relationships with major Indonesian hospitals.

Intralink is an international business development consultancy specialising in helping companies secure customers, partners and investors in overseas markets. It operates from 27 locations worldwide including Silicon Valley, Boston, London, Paris, Düsseldorf, Poznań, Tokyo, Shanghai, Taipei, Bangkok, Jakarta and New Delhi.

Intralink’s team in Jakarta will research and assess potential distributors before developing a shortlist and supporting Innvolution both through the process of selecting its partner and the commercial discussions that follow.
