Redcliffe Labs, one of India’s fastest-growing omnichannel diagnostic healthcare providers, today announced the appointment of Ramesh Krishnan as an Independent Director on its Board, effective August 2026.

The appointment comes at an important juncture in Redcliffe Labs’ evolution as the company charts its next phase of growth and advances its long-term vision for integrated healthcare. Having built a strong pathology network of 80+ labs and 2,000+ collection centres across India, with stringent quality and standardization embedded across its operations, Redcliffe Labs is now expanding its capabilities to bring pathology and radiology together, supported by technology and preventive healthcare. The approach is intended to create a more comprehensive diagnostic offering and enable a more connected continuum from diagnostic insight to informed clinical decision-making and preventive action.

As part of this strategic evolution, Redcliffe Labs is strengthening its governance and institutional capabilities by bringing experienced healthcare leaders onto its Board. Krishnan’s appointment adds deep expertise in healthcare services, hospital operations, mergers and acquisitions, capital allocation, governance and business transformation capabilities that will be instrumental as the company scales its integrated healthcare platform.

Krishnan brings more than three decades of leadership experience across healthcare services, private equity-backed businesses and multi-geography healthcare operations.

He is currently the Founder and CEO of Medagg Healthcare, a technology-enabled platform focused on interventional radiology, and serves as Executive Director at Rela Institute and Medical Centre, one of India’s leading liver transplant institutions.

Previously, he served as CEO and Head of Middle East and South Asia at Parkway Pantai (owned by IHH Healthcare). During his earlier tenure with Fortis Healthcare, he oversaw operations across Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Dubai, Sri Lanka and Mauritius. He has also served as Operating Partner at Everstone Capital’s healthcare services platform, bringing extensive experience across healthcare operations, investments and business transformation.

Across his career, Krishnan has served on more than twenty boards, including Gleneagles Development, Continental Hospitals, Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals and Sahyadri Hospitals, and currently serves as an Independent Director at Yatharth Super Speciality Hospitals. His experience spans acquisitions, post-merger integration, governance, operational excellence and long-term value creation across diverse healthcare environments.

Aditya Kandoi, Founder and CEO, Redcliffe Labs, said, “Healthcare is moving beyond standalone diagnostic services towards integrated, technology-enabled care that enables earlier diagnosis, better clinical decisions and more proactive health management. At Redcliffe Labs, we believe the future lies in building a connected healthcare platform that combines pathology, radiology, AI-powered health insights and preventive care to improve health outcomes at scale.

As we build for this future, strengthening institutional governance is as important as expanding operational capabilities. Ramesh brings an exceptional combination of operating experience, strategic thinking and board-level leadership. Having built healthcare businesses, led complex integrations, partnered with investors and served on multiple healthcare boards, he brings an independent perspective that will be invaluable as we shape Redcliffe Labs’ next chapter of growth.”

Dheeraj Jain, Chairperson and Founder, Redcliffe Labs, said: “At Redcliffe Labs, we have always believed that building a lasting healthcare institution requires strong governance, diverse perspectives and independent oversight alongside operational excellence. As the company enters a new phase of growth, strengthening the Board with leaders who have built and governed large healthcare organisations becomes increasingly important.

Ramesh brings a rare combination of operating experience, strategic insight and boardroom expertise across healthcare services, hospitals, investments and business transformation. His understanding of scaling healthcare businesses while maintaining strong governance standards will be invaluable as we continue building Redcliffe Labs into one of India’s most trusted integrated healthcare platforms.”

Speaking on his appointment, Ramesh Krishnan, Independent Director, Redcliffe Labs, said, “Redcliffe Labs has built an impressive diagnostics platform in a relatively short period of time and is now entering an exciting new phase of evolution. Across healthcare globally, we are seeing increasing convergence between diagnostics, technology, imaging and preventive care. Organisations that successfully integrate these capabilities will be better positioned to create meaningful value for patients and healthcare providers alike.

I look forward to working with the Board and leadership team as the company continues to strengthen its governance, integrate new capabilities, scale responsibly and build a healthcare institution designed for long-term impact.”

Krishnan holds an Advanced Management Program in Healthcare Delivery from Harvard Business School, a Master’s in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) and a Bachelor’s degree from Annamalai University.

His appointment further strengthens Redcliffe Labs’ Board as the company continues to expand its diagnostic capabilities, invest in technology and advance its long-term vision of delivering more connected, preventive and patient-centric healthcare across India.
