Sukham, a brand that helps men with their sexual wellness using safe and effective treatment plans, has successfully raised $275,000 in a pre-seed funding round.

The company intends to utilises the capital for new product launches and treatment plans based on Ayurveda. Additionally, Sukham will be using the investment to strengthen its tech capabilities with the sole objective of rolling out personalised treatment plans confidentially.

Led by 100X.VC, the round witnessed participation from angel investors, including Papa CJ, Yash Kotak, Anuj Puri, Ankur Agarwal and Viswanath Ramachandran.

Sukham was established in 2022 by Vivek Krishna, a serial entrepreneur who has run multiple celebrity sports leagues in the past. Ananya Sarkar, Ishan Pant and Nitin Deswal, the Co-Founders of Sukham, are equally passionate about transforming the narrative around men’s sexual well-being.

Vivek Krishna, CEO and Co-Founder, Sukham, said, “We have always been singularly focused on building a brand that focuses and owns the overall men’s sexual wellness category using holistic and effective treatment regimes like Vajikarana.”

Ninad Karpe, Partner, 100X.VC, said, “Talking about sexual health remains taboo in India. Sukham addresses the lack of open discussion around sexual problems among men with its wellness solutions and effective treatments. Its products and treatment plans are a perfect blend of Ayurveda and modern medicine, which makes it promising to enable men to seek treatment for their sexual problems without any hesitation. We extend our best wishes and look forward to supporting them in all ways possible.”

The treatments offered by Sukham are based on Ayurveda, the traditional medicine system of Vajikarana, the practices of modern medicine and clinically-tested products. The holistic treatment comprises pre-treatment consultation, ayurveda and post-treatment counselling, increasing course completion and retention, and successfully resolving customer problems.

Papa CJ, one of the investors, said, “A comedian’s role in society is often to talk about the things that everyone is thinking but unable to say out loud. Sukham addresses a customer need that many are facing yet are unable to discuss. Hence, I wanted to lend my voice and support their endeavour. Additionally, for 20 years, I’ve been performing on stages around the world, telling people that I come from the land of the Kama Sutra, so it seemed like a good brand fit too.”

There is a heightened increase of sexual disorders amongst men, with 40  of men above age 45 facing low testosterone levels and 20 per cent of men across all age groups battling with erectile dysfunction. Sukham has attracted significant investor attention due to the rising concerns over men’s sexual health and an ever-growing multi-billion dollar market.

With the funding, the company plans to achieve its vision of impacting the lives of 160 million Indian men sooner. Sukham plans to accelerate its growth and expand its operations domestically, with the objective of becoming a trusted household name in the field of men’s sexual health.
