Bearing in mind the on-going pandemic, Cipla Health has introduced 3-ply single-use disposable face masks, under its Cofsils portfolio, which comprises solutions for sore throat and cough related issues.

Priced at Rs. 16 per mask, the Cofsils Face Mask reportedly provides 98 per cent virus protection at 0.1 micron and 98 per cent bacterial protection at 3 microns. Tt comes with an adjustable nose clip for a comfortable fit, is UV sterilised and made in a dust-free environment ensuring safety and hygiene for the consumers. The product is CITRA (Center for International Regulatory Assistance) certified.

While the World Health Organization (WHO) has emphasised the significance of wearing a face mask to prevent transmission of the virus from one another, every individual is advised to follow this measure at all times while travelling outdoors and interacting with others. Catering to this growing demand of masks, the Cofsils Face Mask is available for purchase across India, at all medical stores and e-commerce websites.

According to a company release, the brand is also distributing Cofsils Face Masks to healthcare workers in India, extending support to the services provided by nurses, doctors, pharmacists who are working relentlessly during this crucial time.

Commenting on the launch, Shivam Puri, CEO Cipla Health said, “During this pandemic, our foremost line of defence is taking self-precautionary measure and we at Cipla Health are continually working with the aim to equip and enable healthcare workers as well as consumers to stay safe amidst the coronavirus outbreak. We believe that every individual has a right to safety and we as a brand believe in making high quality products to ensure safety for the masses.”

The brand has also rolled out a digital film highlighting the emotions of families of frontline and healthcare workers. Although these workers are the real superheroes of current times, their families who are supporting them continue to fear while allowing them out on the field. This is being portrayed through the Cofsils campaign #MaskedButNoSuperHero.
