Every girl born in India on OXXY Network hospitals will be provided an FD worth Rs. 11,000
HDFC and OXXY Health have joined hands to provide Rs. 11,000 fixed deposit (FD) to every girl child born in India. In the initiative, every girl born on OXXY Network which has 1.8 lakh hospitals, diagnostics and pathology labs across the country can avail the benefits of the programme. The programme is absolutely free for everyone to enroll in the country.
Oxxy Girl Child Development Program is available for every expecting mother and Oxxy will educate the mothers about the timely tests and precautions as per global standards. These steps will also help in bringing the infant mortality rate down in the country.
HDFC will help the process of opening a FD for girl child. The girl child will be able to encash the FD when they turn 18.
